Summarizing a Custom Field

Hello there,

the Shop i am currently making carries Products that need an extra Field called CBM, containing a numeric Value. Basically i added the Field to the Database and such, and everything is fine. Now i need to find a way to display the Summary of the CBM on the Shopping Cart Page(s) as a Total.

So say i add a Product which CBM is 2 , the summarized CBM is 2
Add another one, CBM is 4.

This is similar to the way the total Weight or total Amount is displayed, and i found many references to show_weight() in the code, but i cannot find where that function is and how i can then duplicate it to summarize the CBM Field.

Can someone please point me in the right Direction?

Hello,

can someone please tell me where to look so i can basically make a duplicate of the get_weight or total function, and use it to summarize my own Field on the shopping cart page(s)? This would be a great help to me.
