    Default Filezilla help

I have Windows Vista and am trying to install Zen Cart, but I am having trouble with Filezilla. It keeps connecting and then disconnecting straightaway saying something about the port might be the wrong one or something.

I would greatly appreciate some help

Most hosts use port 21 for standard FTP but if your host only allows FTP as a secure session then the port might change.

Best to see if your host has a knowledge base or FAQ area or just submit a ticket

I was told the port is 21 for ftp and my ftp name or whatever it is, is ftp.clothmania.com.au but that doesn't work and I have tried without my firewall and that also makes no difference.

Is your account on LINUX? Is it cPanel as your account manager?

If so, NS Mybe for others, in the FZ host box enter just your domain name:

    my_domain.com

ver of FZ dependant -find/select connection type as normal

enter your account user name and your account pass in the appropriate boxes and connect.

Sorry I dont understand the shortenings, I understand FZ for FireZilla but not NS. Yes it is cPanel, and I think my abbount is on LINUX.

I tried just clothmania.com.au for the server address which made no difference, but not sure how to change it for my host box.
