each item(individually) has it own shipping cost per state depending on item

I am looking for a way to have each item(individually) having its own shipping cost depending on which state it is going to according to these prices http://www.tribalsurfboards.com.au/s...e=shippinginfo, if someone orders more then one item or a combination of item to the shipping per item(individually) should add up correctly.
I dont think this can be based on weight but needs to be based on item ID or something. I would not normally ask such a question but this is what they owner wants and he said he wont want it any other way... he actually was fairly rude about it when I said it should be based on weight...

I have currently done this MultiGeoZone(http://www.dream-scape.com/pub/zencart/MZMT/) but this does not do the job perfectly.

Note to admin: please dont move this post to 'Commercial Help Wanted' as you can see I have not said I am going to pay anyone. here we can find a solution which is open whereas in the 'Commercial Help Wanted' no one can see it. and if I pay someone to do this job I will post the answer/mod here.

here is a 'per item ID' shipping module I had made in 2008; http://www.budgetwebdesign.com.au/ze...IDshipping.zip
still works but can not work in conjunction with the other calculators; it gives its own postage cost per item ID but cannot be used with multiple item orders where some item shipping costs are based on weight.

I have not seen a shipping calculator that can work in conjunction with other shipping calculators (e.g. add a flat rate on top of a weight based calculator); other than the free postage option per item ID which is built into zencart.

Zen Cart is set up to have one shipping method per order. You could create a method which knew about other methods and computed shipping different ways for different items, but you'd have to custom build it; nothing like this is built in.
