Apostrophe's in Product Description = Invalid XML

Dr Byte & Team,

Can you point me in the direction if this has already been addressed? Apparently, with the latest 1.3.8, I am seeing an INVALID XML error with Linkpoint when one of the items in the cart contains an apostrophe.

SNIP:

Everything else about the transaction looks fine. I know that in the past, these errors happened a lot when foreign customers used certain characters in their names and addresses, like í, ó, â, etc., but those appear to be fine now. The only thing out of the ordinary is these product titles in the ARRAY which appear to be causing a problem.

Hi Kim,

Yes, I did check that thread (http://zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=82619) before making my post. I didn't see anything that pertained to my specific problem. I already have the latest linkpoint_api file on our system.

Truth be told, this is the first I am seeing this problem, and I don't know if it's isolated or not. All I know is that in the past, I would see Invalid XML errors when the user's foreign name/address messed up. In this instance, that all looks fine and dandy, but the Array of products is substituting an apostrophe.

So the following (25' Rope) looks like this: 25' Rope

I can't replicate the problem using the latest posted patch for Linkpoint, the link to which is in the thread you referenced.
