1.3.8 full ADMIN language??? -CONFIGURATION-

Hi at all,


Ive installed, ZC 1.3.8 and a german language file.


Everything is nice ONLY the CONFIGURATION is full in english.
How can I translate this?

Pleas help?

You can start with /admin/includes/languages/"language".php

Where language is the language you are working in in your case this should be german.php - but you want to translate /admin/includes/languages/english.php

This will get 80-90% of the admin in your language

I included the german LANGfile:

The frontend is full in german :-)

The backend is in german, too ONLY the points in configuration are still in english. There is no error linke MY_STORE or something else... as a translation, it is only english like My Store....


The old ZenCart Version 1.3.7 was OK, also in the admin with the configuration part,everything was in german....



So... where is the problem???

I'm guessing the problem is that a complete german language version of Zen Cart 1.3.8 is not out yet.

This is located at includes/languages and for the frontend not the ADMIN

You can start with /admin/includes/languages/"language".php

The Admin menu options in the configuration section are not multi-lingual.
If you want to change them, feel free to make your own edits to the configuration table. Be aware that future updates may override your changes.

Hmm but in 1.3.7 it was fine..english german... etc.


OK in 1.3.8 everything change!!! Thats sad... but I like the 1.3.8... ok I have to live with the english administration.... ;-)

Is it on the roadMap?

My question is, why the the config menu texts are stored in db? That's a problem, you can't translate admin panel due to this :/
