    Default Spelling Errors in Store

I have found a couple of spelling errors in two places and I need to know how to get there to edit them.

    1) When someone is registering, there is a privacy statement at the top with a check box, and there is a misspelled word, it says Please acknowledge you agree with our privacy statement by ticking the following box. I need to change that from ticking to clicking.

    2) Step 2 of 3 - Payment Information - also has the same spelling error Please acknowledge check box says ticking and it should be clicking.

I need to know where to fix these errors, because it really stands out to me and I am a stickler for something like this. Can anyone tell me where to go? Please Advise. Thanks Betty

Hi Betty... In some parts of the world, the boxes are known as TICK boxes, so the "error" isn't spelling, but just the way some people define the label.

Make yourself familiar with "developers tool kit in your ADMIN...TOOLS menu.

Search for "ticking" in the very last search field, and select ALL FILES - CATALOG

    Then SEARCH.

I just did this on my STANDARD zencart test shop, and it showed a number of files that it appears in... such as:-

    includes/languages/classic/english.php

If you've not edited a PHP file before, please look for tips and advice in the forum.

If you go to Admin - Tools - Developers Tool Kit and enter ticking in the search box and select All Files - Catalog/Admin in the dropdown, you'll get a list of files where the word 'ticking' appears, with line numbers.

This isn't an error, by the way. Ticking a checkbox is the usual usage.

    Edit: Out-typed again.

Too few, I guess. Maybe if I used more than two fingers...

The good news is that Betty got an answer to her question in six minutes - not bad.
