    Default Your message has been successfully sent. Not!

    I'm having an odd problem with the last contact on our contact_us page, the "webmaster" address. Maybe others, I'm not sure. Some time in the last 6 months this stopped working, I'm not sure when.

    I click send, I get put on the success page with "Your message has been successfully sent."

    I check in admin, look at the E-Mail Archiv Search. Nothing captured there to webmaster. Nothing arrives on the mail server.

    I tested the first one on the list, it works. I don't want to spam all the other staff members so I haven't re-tested all the others.

    However, I did test them all in the past and I know webmaster was working back on 10/2007.

    Another staff member may have modified the list (at least the order) during that time. The syntax, however, looks fine in admin and on the contact us page.

    I FOUND IT!

    There's a bug somewhere.. ..I copied the text from the admin page into a good editor and found 3 extra <newline> in the middle of the list. You can't see that in the admin gui. Worst of all, everything appears to work and claims to have sent email.

    All I did was remove the newlines, paste the text back in, and voila! Email to webmaster worked the first try.

    I can't imagine how many people have thought they sent us email and we never got it. ..and there's no log in the archive either.

    For what it's worth, Zen Cart 1.4 will prevent the problem you experienced..
