Default Is there any harm in auto-repairing a db ever couple of hours?

When my host crashes (as it often does) most stuff recovers, but often, Zen will complain of a broken table, and I find lots of "x clients are using y table or have not closed it properly".

Rather than have to go in and repair ever couple of days, is there anything wrong with putting a global db repair in a cron job and running it every couple of hours?

It's generally not a good idea to "fix what aint broke", and if your host is crashing so often, the better route may be to find a more reliable host.

On the frequency of cron-based dbase repairs... I'm not sure if this will have adverse effects, other than believing that it's better not to interfere with the dbase too often...
