Can´t send HTML Mails when I change the language

Hello,

I have upgraded to 1.38a. Now I have a Problem to send HTML - mails.

If I use the first language ENGLISH everything works fine and it shows in the Admin the welcome mails also in HTML format.

But If I change the language to GERMAN I got an error message that only shows : HEADER in the top of the admin and the welcome message will be text only. all message or newsletters are also in txt-format.

When I change back to English no problem. What happens???? How could I fix that.

Default e-mail setting are : PHP

ok, more or less I found a solution.
I replaced in:

includes/functions/functions_email.php

with the the version of the 1.3.7 cart and now it works fine but I don´t know what the problem with the 1.3.8a version is
