changing servers!! and its not working Please help!!

I am moving servers and this is what I have done so far.

1. Uploaded and installed the same verson of zencart on the new server.
2. copied the old site to the new server saving the config files from the new install.
3. did a back up of the old data base
4. imported the old data base into the new data base on the new server.

Now here are the problem I am getting:
in the data base inport it says "Import has been successfully finished, 0 queries executed."

When I go to the site this is what it says:
1054 Unknown column 'c.parent_id' in 'on clause'
in:
[SELECT c.categories_id as id, c.parent_id, cd.categories_name as cName, cd2.categories_name as pName FROM categories c, categories_description cd LEFT JOIN categories_description cd2 ON c.parent_id=cd2.categories_id AND cd2.language_id='1' WHERE c.categories_id=cd.categories_id AND cd.language_id='1']

Can some one please help me with this I have been working on it for 3 days and can make it work?

Did'nt you select a host that can/will assist??

With "0" queries completed I would doubt that your DB has been imported successfully...

Check your old host php and mysql ver and compare to your current versions

What Ver of Zen Cart is this?
What mods and versions?

I am using zencart 1.3.7.1
this is what the old server says MySQL 4.1.14-standard
and this is what it says for the new server MySQL client version: 4.0.21

ok I got the data base to import but now when I go to the site this is what it says "Sorry!
There seems to be a problem connecting to our database. Please give us a few minutes to remedy the problem. Thank you."

and when I go to the admin area this is what it says"0 DB_ERROR_NOT_CONNECTED
in:
[select * from project_version WHERE project_version_key = 'Zen-Cart Database' ]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields."

Any ideas??
