Default Credit card payment thru paypal

hey guys , been receiving payment thru paypal only but had some complaints from customers that couldnt use their credit card who doesnt have a paypal account...paypal page says click here if u dont have a paypal account and u can use ur credit or debit card..seems for most when they do click there it doesnt work for them...

so i have decided to sign up for paypal website payment pro thru the virtual terminal set up ...so this will enable me to have a merchant account and accept credit cards world wide? can anyone confirm this for me?

and also would i just turn on the credit card module in the control panel for this to start working?
and would the cash go thru paypal and into my account or do i have to do something else to get the cash when customers pay via the credit card?
thanks in advance..just want some confirmation before i go ahead..

I can't absolutely confirm that for you, but that sounds correct.

It does depend upon where you're located. If I understand correctly, you can't accept payments via PayPal if you're in many countries though you can send payments.

No, you wouldn't need the CC module, you'd need to turn on the appropriate PayPal module. When they go to pay, they'd then be given the option to pay by credit card or their existing PP balance.

You'd still have to log in to PP from time to time to transfer the money from your PP account to your bank account. PayPal gets some of their income through interest on the money that's sitting in people's accounts, so they're not going out of their way to make the transfer to your bank automatic.

Default Create Account Page not working

Create account page just stopped working recently. Customers cannot login or
    create new account sign ups.

    How can I repair this?

    Thanks

This should probably be asked in a new, separate thread instead of hijacking this one with a completely different topic.

But.... What has changed in your setup since the last time it worked correctly? Are the files on the server all correct? If you have phpMyAdmin you might try selecting the appropriate table(s), clicking on Operations tab, and checking/analyzing/repairing as needed.

Basically, if it was working before then something must have changed on one side or the other.
