Need to export customers for site move

From everything I've read, I understand that the zen passwords are encrypted - end of story, right? Any advice or suggestions on how best to handle a site move away from zen cart? Don't hate, but we need to take the store elsewhere and the passwords seem to the challenge at hand. We do repeat business so we need a way to smooth the transition for our customers as best we can.

Any ideas?

Zen Cart's password encryption is one-way. There is no way to unencrypt the passwords to steal them for use elsewhere.
You may have to manually do password resets in your new system, or some other workaround.
