Pretty much what the title says. I want the product listing page to include the price of the item, but not qty. or add to cart.
Also, I'd like the price to be below the product title.
Help?

These requirements are controlled in the Admin > Configuration > Product Listing page, though if you turn off the add to cart button and quantity box, they will be replaced with a link that says "... more info".
To get rid of this you could change the text in the relevant language file, but may need to edit the underlying PHP file to also get rid of the elipsis (dots).

The only thing I see in Config > Product Listing to turn off the Add to Cart function is "Display Product Price/Add to Cart". When i set that to 0 it turns off the price as well, which i don't want
To get the price (only) beneath the name, you need to edit product_listing.php, as described in the Heavily modifying Product Listings Page thread and others it references.
Thank you Glenn, I'll read up on that :)
I managed to get rid of and keep what I wanted. Yay!
However, now there is a HUGE gap between the rows.

How would I go about bridging the gap?
H,
Thank you! Worked like a charm.
R,

Hope you don't might me tagging on to this thread (or else an admin can split it off).
I too am new. This is a VERY steep learning curve. I've installed the cart and products, got the pages showing the bits I want.
I added all the products, with stock and pricing. When I go to the store home and navigate to a product, I can see the following bits:
Breadcrumbs
Category Title
Product x/x (I don't want this, I assume I edit the template later)
Previous/Category/Next (also don't want this)
Image (also don't want this)
Product Name
Product Price
Product Description
Product Reference (don't need this)
Product Stock (don't need this)
Write a review image/link (don't need this)
Tell a Friend image/link (don't need this)
The customer can only order one of any product (they are adverts) and the supply is unlimited (I put stock of 1000 in for now!)
I am not logged in as a customer, just a guest. Why can't I see an Add to Cart button?
These are the settings I have:
Display Product Price/Add to Cart is set to 3
Display Product Add to Cart Button is set to 1
Or does the customer need to log in first?

Any advice greatly welcomed.
