Product Images & Description MISSING in the NEW PRODUCTS & ALL PRODUCTS LISTING pages

I have spent days trying to figure out why the NEW PRODUCTS and ALL PRODUCTS pages do not display the product images and descriptions.

Let me ask my question a different way. What page or file contains the elements that cause this to only happen on the ALL PRODUCTS of NEW PRODUCTS pages?

I have another site where these pages work fine. I have even tried copying the CSS & PHP files that I thought controlled this from happening from the site that works to this site to see if I could isolate the problem, but it doesn't fix the problem.

Other than the CSS file I haven't much else after installing 1.38a - other than changing some text that appears in the pages.

Check the Configuration ... All Listing ... and check the Configuration ... New Listing ...

Do you have the image turned on?

What value have you set it to?
