    Default "Liquid/Adjustable" template

    My site views perfectly fine in Mozilla Firefox, but when viewed in Internet Explorer everything is out of place, either too small or too big, basically nothing fits in any browser other than Mozilla. Take a look http://www.halosfavors.com How do I fix this?

    I checked your site in FF, IE7, Opera and Safari and didn't see any noticeable differences from browser to browser.

    I guess it varies, because I get different responses from different people with different browsers. I guess I'll leave it like it is, thanks for your help!

    I looked at your site in several browsers & got huge variations in each - not what you want. There are 2 main problems as I see it:
    1. the huge lettering in your logo causes problems when it wraps to fit various screen sizes
    2. the horizontal menu near the top also wraps to a second line & causes problems in various browsers at varying screen widths, sometimes it becomes invisible or hard to see.

    I suggest creating a graphic logo and if you want your page to display properly at an 800 pixel width then design it with that in mind.
    Also perhaps do away with the horizontal menu, since it's just a duplicate of the menu on the left.

    Attached are 4 screen shots, 3 at 1024 pixel width, 1 at 800 width, in IE7, FireFox, IE6, and IE6 at 800 pixel width (most problems in IE6 at 800)

    I agree that the problem is not any one Browser but the Screen resolution being used.

    #tagline (line 195) {
    color: #ffccff;
    font-size: 7em;
    line-height: 135px;
    text-align: center;
    vertical-align: middle;
    }

    You could try using an H1 tag or custom the 'tagline' ID to use percentage.

    font-size: 184%; adjust to suit

    I've tried adjusting the font and changing to percentage, even removing my logo, but nothing seems to work. Should I just change my template? Does any one else have this problem with the purpleshades template?

    I just thought about something that may make sense. Could it be possible that my overrides are related to this issue? Per say if I have folders with the same files, with variations of codes? Tell me if you understand or not, I dont know how to word this correctly.

    I would guess you found something that works, being as the Header font size is much smaller now. Also looks OK in an 800x600 resolution.
