easy populate

Hi I am very confused. I am trying to upload my products and it appears to upload fine. But the products do not appear - the catagories and subcatagories appear. I have even downloaded a easy populate file from another existing zen cart but they don't appear. Any ideas what I am doing wrong??

i have just created a txt file from easy popular and editied this file within excell, i then tried to upload and add to database from admin and the prosess just fails after 15 mins of uploading. i also tried uploading via ftp and add to database from temp file and again times out.

while doing this the process added extra products which were duplications of old, turned off, items.

i have had to do a restore

why did i get this problem?? only thing i changed were product weights. i have 811 items

I presume when you uploaded the products you had status column values 0.
This makes the products non active.

Upload again using status as 1 OR run following SQL code

update zen_products SET products_status = 1;
Tha make all existing products active and visible.

sorry i think i may have just confused everyone. When i add the products they do not diplay in either Admin or the online catalouge. I have added them with the satus as being 1 and also attempted to run the scipt which gives the below error message

Failed: 1
ERROR: Cannot execute because table zen_products does not exist. CHECK PREFIXES!

Did you create a category for your products?

only through the file i recieved through my suppliers. the catagories have loaded but the products are not there. I have rest the settings and run from another website file i downloaded and the same again the catagories show but he products do not.

When upoading they display as new product with green writting and all columns that i upload and with the EOREOR with the v_status as 1
