I started my site on a student account with my host. My site is about finished and I want to move it to the new server and domain that I just purchased through the host. I'm aware that you can't just copy the root files over because of the database. I'm still quite new at this and don't understand a lot of the complex workings, but I can learn quickly. I've seen some other posts on this, but nothing makes sense to me. Is there a tutorial or guide that explains step by step how to do this? Or if it's simpler than that does anyone wish to explain? I really appreciate all the help you guys have given me over the past week. Thanks a lot!

If you're on the same host, check with them. They may move it for you.
