Group pricing per item plug-in for v1.3.7 has incorrect cart subtotal

I recently installed group pricing to our development server.

When I go to the shopping cart, the piece subtotals are all correct, however the subtotal at the bottom of the products block is based on the base price rather than the group price. I've looked into it far enough to know that the code that generates this price is different from the code which generates the price in all of the following screens, where the price is correct.

Has this been addressed? Is there a way I can quickly update this to the correct price? I installed the version I did because it was the last version made for Zen Cart 1.2.7. We have modified our system heavily to be able to handle what we need it to, so making an upgrade to 1.3.8 is out of the question for the time being.
