I'm getting a generic transaction declined message for a customer with an international alphabet character in their name. The person's name contains an æ (customer is from Norway).
When viewing the declined transaction on authorize.net, the character shows up as a BOX [FONT=Arial]� . Does anyone know if this could cause the decline? Any ideas why this character is not being passed to authorize.net properly? Anyone have experience with handling these types of characters?[/FONT]
