Default Admin conformation customer notified "false"

Every time a customer goes through PayPal the first conformation in the admin/customers/orders for that customer it has a green check mark and says status- processing then it goes to the second line with a red X. Why am I getting this red X? I attached a picture of what I’m getting... Thanks

    I'm using Zencart 1.3.7

It just means that the customer hasn't been notified.

    It's normal.

You can see that PayPal went through two states during the same second. The customer only needs *one* of those emails.

How would this be fixed? Or can it be fixed?

    Thanks,

    There's nothing to "fix".

Do you just not like seeing an "x"? Maybe you should just change the graphic icon from an "x" to a "nope" icon instead?

I'm not understanding why you think there's something to "fix".
What does "fixed" look like? And why is that important?

The first status line shows that the customer was notified ... that was the original order confirmation notification.

The second one was essentially an admin-only message confirming for you that PayPal did in fact notify your store of a completion of the payment.

Sending another duplicated notice to the customer at that stage would be pointless and confusing, since they already receive a notice from your store and from PayPal.
