Which mod to use for layaway?

I'd like to be able to include a layaway option for my customers at my online zen cart store. I did see the layaway payment module but it says that it prints out the customers full credit card number and I don't want that. I saw the Installment plan, but that one says its for shop owners who manually process credit cards. I won't be accepting credit cards so how can I still offer a layaway option to my customers at my online store?

How can you run an on-line store without Credit Card Payment? are you using PayPal?

I would experiment with the Layaway module, it seems as if it does PayPal, you will have to experiment.

I don't use it, so I don't know for certain, but the layaway module says it uses either credit cards, PayPal or both. If you are able to select PayPal only, it shouldn't collect the credit card numbers and that will eliminate the problem of sending the credit card number in email.

I should look at that module. It might do something I want to set up for a friend as a prototype.
