Default MYSQL table EMPTY causing issues

Within MYSQL I chose to "Empty" the table zen_email_archive. Afterwards I am unable to connect to the site via the admin or regular route. I can't figure out how to fix this issue.

I of course did not back up my DB before the "Empty" although I don't know if that is an issue because I don't care about the lost data anyways.

    Any ideas?

I do not believe that emptying that table will affect your access to the site. I know little to nothing about SQL and databases so I backed my small test site's database up and then empties that table to see. Had zero affect.

Maybe your host/server is acting up?

You are right which is the same thing I was thinking. There is no reason that emptying the data in a table would have that effect.

In the end it turned out I was being an idiot. I was having trouble logging into MYSQL and I changed the password without thinking about the 'Configure' file that contains the hardcoded password.

*****Something interesting I found which may be usefull to others:
-I was considering buying more database space because I was bumping up on my limit(48 MB out of 50MB.)
    - After clearing the email_archive table and turning off email archiving my database usage dropped to 7 MB.

You can prune your email archive table periodically via the Email Archive Manager contribution from the downloads area if you prefer to have control from your Admin instead of using phpMyAdmin.
