Default PP express error! Protocol https not supported or disabled in libcurl

I installed PP express and configured paypal correctly, but get this error message when trying to checkout:

An error occurred when we tried to contact the payment processor. Please try again, select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. () - (1) Protocol https not supported or disabled in libcurl

    How do I solve this?

I'm taken back to the checkout_shipping page.

    All help is greatly appreciated

You need to get your hosting company to enable SSL in their CURL configuration.

Okay, will do. Do I then have to activate Curl in zen cart?
