Fully custom templates

Hey guys,

Zencart is pretty cool - But I've really found a lack of information or documentation on fully custom templates.

I am a designer, so 're-configuring' the page with side boxes, etc. is not an option for me - these sites and projects are designed and build from the ground up, just using something like Zencart as the engine behind the scene.

So, for this project I have built and developed a xhtml/css template(s) such as a product page, home page, category page, static page, etc. All designed, coded, just waiting for php hooks, or to lay over an existing system.

Most of our projects are focused on our ability to develop high-end visually pleasing sites - using the standard layout/box template they have just absolutely not an option.

Any help and guidance from experts in designing with Zen would be great, thanks.
