Thanks for the link to that thread slabadoo, changing the HTTP_POST_VARS with _POST worked for me. I suppose I didnt see that thread because I wasn't searching in the right place "Contributed Add-ons"

    Anyways, thanks again.

And good luck to you Yellowleaf, I dont know much about php myself, but very pleased with the zen-cart community. I am using the 1.3.7 zen-cart, and not 1.3.5 when I changed the http_post_vars to _post. maybe silly question, but did you leave the '$' in front of the '_post' to read '$_POST' ?

Yes, the "$" is there. We are running 1.3.8a for the cart and installed Knuckle-101's PO Mod update for 1.3.8, but it still does not work. I do not know enough about php to be able to correct it so at present we are dead in the water. I did see other people who had success changing that in 1.3.7, but not for 1.3.8.

Sorry to hear of your problems yellowleaf, maybe one last silly question.. you did a search for the http_vars_post? I know when I changed my code, they were in a few places that i didnt think i could see without searching for the term.

Anyways.. I was dead in the water for a few months with my problem, but I got around it by just turning on the check/MO option, and changing the "Order Comments" section to read "Purchase Order Number and Order Comments" haha

but I have a feeling that may not be acceptable in most business scenarios. I suppose if I run into anything else, I will post it up here.

    "changing the "Order Comments".

I had suggested that and the customer had a fit. They want a properly working program. You know how that goes...

I am using a Zencart v1.3.9b. I have successfully installed the Ty Package module and the Purchase order module. I recently installed super order add-on (for more flexibility and better order management). After installation, under Admin>Module>Payment> I do not find the PO payment module to install. Can any one please help me out? Thank you in advance.

Hi. I'm working with 1.3.9h and just installed the Purchase Order Payment module. Not a coder so forgive me. Not sure where the purchaseorder.sql file should be loaded.

Also, not seeing the 'sql updater' that I should run as per the Read Me file...

I'm hoping once I have answers to those questions then the checkout page will populate the po # automatically?

(What I'm hoping to do here is allow customers to select and purchase items, and then generate a PO. They would then make the related payment at an authorized bill payment location.)
