    Default Unknown Format Change

    I'm not sure how it happened, but all of a sudden I have large spaces on my home page (and other pages) between Welcome to Desert Sky Ink and the Welcome Guest message. I'm sure it is a change within the style sheet, but I don't know where the change would be, as I have made so many and it's starting to get kind of confusing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    My website is www.desertskyink.net

    On your stylesheet you have this:

    Code:
    h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {
        margin: 3.5em;
        }
    which puts a 3.5em margin on all sides of the heading tags. That is what is causing the large spaces. Reduce that to something like .5em and I think you will be much happier. If the .5em isn't enough, just try different amounts until you get what you want.

    I am having a problem with a huge space at the top of my website which is www.sunbling.com on the Main Page before it says Welcome To Sunbling. Any suggestions? I'm sure it's a stylesheet issue but I'm not sure what to change. Thx.

    Hi,

    Are you sure its not a load of paragraph tags in your html in your

    admin>tools>define pages>main page ?

    I just looked at it with firebug element inspector and it seemed to be paragraph tags and your stylesheet looked normal? But I may well be very wrong...

    That space is a bunch of stuff added by Microsoft Word.

    It's not a good idea to copy and paste from Word or any other word processor into Zencart. Instead, paste the copy into the page from a text editor and do your styling in the Define Pages Editor or manually.

    Everything was created within the built in HTML text editor in Zen-Cart. I removed the logo and the text at the top and just left the tables (which were also created in Zen-Cart text editor) and still there are large spaces at the top...any ideas?

    Well, OK, but if you view the source of that page, on line 134 you'll find a whole bunch of stuff that includes references to 'class="MsoNormal". That only results, so far as I know, from converting a Word document to a web page.

    A picture or something might have been copied from Word but the tables that are on the main page now created in the Zen Cart editor. So do I need to delete all these tables and everything else and recreate everything to get this to work? My other website, www.desertskyink.com works just fine?

    You have some junk in the same place in your other site, too. It just isn''t causing the gap. Please view the source of both pages to see what I mean.

    Edit: It looks like at least one of your sites has been hacked :
