How to: Affiliates ??

I am looking for a simple procedure for setting up Affiliates on my site.
I have found the affiliates tools in admin area but do not know how to configure them. I cannot see anywhere here in the forum that tells me how to go about it.
Can someone please explain how to add afiliate banners?

Zen Cart comes with a simple Referral tracker ... this is not an affiliates program ...

You may wish to look into our Partners section for true Affiliate programs for your shop ...
