I am looking the installation instructions located in the docs folder in the Zen Cart Full File Set.

Instructions state:

Now, change the permissions on the following directories to 777 (read/write/execute).

[FONT=Courier New]/catalog/cache
/catalog/images
/catalog/includes/languages/english/html_includes
/catalog/media
/catalog/pub
/catalog/admin/backups
/catalog/admin/images/graphs

[/FONT]Note: open the catalog/images directory and change all of the subdirectories and their subdirectories to 777 as well. For example (this is a partial list):
[FONT=Courier New]/catalog/images/attributes
/catalog/images/dvd
/catalog/images/large
/catalog/images/large/dvd
/catalog/images/medium
/catalog/images/upload[/FONT]
There are no instructions to change these back?
What should they be set at?

In the Site Security Docs I find this:

On Linux/Unix hosts, generally, permission-setting recommendations for basic security are:
  • folders/directories: 755
  • files: 644
For those who aren't reading all the docs (like me!), can this be added to the install doc?
