Default Browser error with SSL, can't get to the bottom of it

I have recently installed an SSL certificate on my site, but when customers go to log in or visit checkout an error will pop up, I have a screen shot below.

I can't seem to find the cause, but then I don't really know what to look for??

Could this be a problem with Java?

Your stylesheet contains hard-coded http:// paths for background images. You mustn't do that.
