Shipping Problem, Question

I am using ZC version 1.3.9h

I am trying to set up something that should be fairly simple.

I want calculated UPS rates going to only the lower 48 states

A flat rate of $35 to all of Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii

A flat rate of $75 for everyone else.

I have defined a zone that has all lower 48 states and used that zone for UPS.

I have defined z zone that has all All of Canada and HI, and AK and used that for the Flat Rate module and set my amount of $35

Here is the hard part. Now I need to give a flat rate of $75 to all other countries other than US and CA. Seems like I need a second flat rate module. I have tried using Zone Rates for this and entered ISO codes for all countries other than US and CA. This works but the problem is that Zone Rates show up for everyone including US and Canada with a message that says "No shipping available to the selected country"

How can I make zone rates not even show up for countries that aren't listed?

Is there a better way to do this?

I was just reading about how to clone the flat rate module. Perhaps that would allow you to do what you want? I'm a total rookie, so just an idea to look into.

Fantastic! And there is a Flat Rate Clone module available in the free software addons. I tried that and assigned my 3rd zone to it and it works perfectly!!
