    Default My title is spilling over.

    I installed a new theme from templatemela and I love it but I am working on tweeking somethings and I just can't figure these out. When you are on the main page, the products shown below below are great except the title over runs it's borders. Is there a way to get the title to take up 2 lines so it is all there and fits neatly? Shortening the actual title really is not an option for me.

    Clicking on new products also shows the title running. Looks bad.

    Secondly, when you click on new products, it shows ADD and a box. I don't want that, I prefer an add to cart button. I can't seem to find this option.

    Site is polishpotterystore .com/shopping

    Thank you!

    admin tools developers toolkit and search for the words you don't want.

    Title spilling over.

    One would not expect a title to be this long

    Play with it long enough and you will break it.

    I'm sorry but this confuses me more. How does the developers tool kit help me? Searching for "title spilling over" doesn't work. My title is only 6 words long. In order to make it fit I would have to reduce it down to three words. There has to be another way especially considering I have thousands of products.

    I am not a code expert, it's all trial and error but I don't want to mess something up. This has to be something easy that I am missing, no?

    Way down in your stylesheet, around line 963, you'll see a definition for centerBoxContentsSpecials. It contains a white-space: nowrap; declaration. When I remove that (using Firefox/Firebug) the titles wrap properly.

    Rather than edit that one, which might have unintended consequences, create a new define at the very bottom of your stylesheet, just for the DIV which contains your title, like this...

    .prodtitle {white-space: normal;}

    That solves the problem.

    Actually.... I take that back. It does appear to solve the problem in several places however if you click on a category and then a subcategory, that listing does the same. There's an example.

    Thank you ever so much!

    I'm not seeing a problem on that page, but if you still need to you can get the same effect by using that DIV's id "itemTitle" in a copy of that same CSS I mentioned above.

    Do you use Firefox? It's a good thing. And if you don't have them already be sure to get either Firebug or the Web Developer Tools add-on for Firefox. Then you can quickly do what I just quickly did.
