I have a discount coupon defined to give new customers a 5% discount. I send this coupon code in the welcome email. This has worked great for a few years, but today a customer called his order in because he couldn't figure out how to use the coupon.
So the order was taken over the phone. Now I want to make it so this customer cannot use the online coupon in the future. Can someone give me the knowledge to set this coupon as having been used by this particular customer? He did create his account successfully and likely just chickened out before reaching the checkout step that asks for the discount coupon code. I'm running 1.39h btw.
