Default Invoice Price (ex) Price (inc)

    Hi

Why do these 2 always show the same figure? Same for the and Total (ex) Total (inc) ?

I have set a 10% GST tax rate on my products which is working correctly but I want the (ex) and (inc) to show the correct amounts based on the tax, I thought that's what they meant?

(ex) = the price Excluding the 10% tax
(inc) = the price Including the 10% tax

Is that not correct? Why would they show the same?

I want the price (inc) to be the one display on my website front end, is that possible using the admin console or do I have just add the %10 in code myself?

    Thanks guys!

I was having the same problem and after a little digging in the code I discovered it requires configuration in the admin settings.

Configuration -> My Store -> Display Prices with Tax in Admin

Default setting is false I believe. Setting this to true will correctly display taxes on the invoice (I'm not sure what it will affect elsewhere in the admin control panel, however).

    Hope it helps.

Hi there, I have this problem as well. I tried tinkering with the settings that you mentioned, Jason. But the problem is still there. haha. I'm wondering what I did wrong.

My taxes are all set up just that the tax is detected as 0% on the invoice. The tax is set at 5.00% (Singapore Goods and Services Tax). I have set the zone, sub zone and everything (nothing is left blank as far as I know...I clicked on every button I could click and filled in whatever blanks I could fill). On top of that, the prices displayed in the shop only reflect the net price and not the gross price even though I have set the store settings to display prices with tax (for admin as well).

Can anyone please enlighten me? Thank you in advance.

I have this problem too but the shopkeeper wants to keep all the product prices in the admin Catalog -> Categories visible without VAT but of course would like to have the invoice calculated correctly. Now it is for example 199 euro (0%) and 199 euro (VAT 22%) which of course can't correspond the thruth.

I also have the same problem as above.

By changing the setting to show prices include tax, chages the values shown in step 2 of the checkout, but it does not correct the problem on the invoices.

Inc Tax and Ex Tax show the same value.

See if the following settings do what you want.

Admin > Configuration > My Store
    Code:
    Display Prices with Tax false
Display Prices with Tax in Admin true
    Basis of Product Tax Billing
    Basis of Shipping Tax Shipping
    Sales Tax Display Status 1

We have had two orders that display in the Orders View and show the ex.tax price in both the Ex and Inc, the Sales Tax field shows 0.
I have checked the pricing of the products involved and this is correct.
Have also validated settings in Store Config. I have created several test order and these calculate correctly. Very Confusing. Any ideas?

    cheers, catts-it

    Tax Decimal Places--------------------------2
    Display Prices with Tax ---------------------true
Display Prices with Tax in Admin---------- true
    Basis of Product Tax ------------------------Billing
    Basis of Shipping Tax -----------------------Shipping
    Sales Tax Display Status -------------------1

This is what i did to correct my invoices and they now show the price correctly inc and ex tax.

I did that but still i get on Step 2 of 3 - Payment Information

    Sub-Total: € 40
    Table Rate (Best Way): €2.50
    Sales Tax: €6.67
    Total: €42.50

    The Sub-Total should be € 33,33.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.
