completely remove logo

Hi all,
I'm quite new to PHP and ZenCart and i was just wondering if someone could walk me through the steps it would take to fully remove the header logo. Im working on a new template and i have been able to do everything but this. The template is extremly small as it needs to fit in a frame with a width of 540.

If you do not wish to simply remove the logo's file image definition name, then simply go to your template's common folder - under your tpl_header.php file to remove the logo image line.

one more question... does the page have a set pixel size?

This depends on what template you are using as your base.

The Classic template is fixed width so if your custom template was based on this yes.

Default template is 100% width so it is not fixed.

yeah it did. Now onto the tricky bits. Im decnt when it comes to using MS Frontpage to do stuff, but as soon as i have to start edditing in notepad....

MS Frontpage is not recommended to be used with Zen-Cart files (as well as many other PHP script files but let's not get into that). The best way to edit your PHP files is with specialized software that can save your PHP files without altering it's readings.

I, for instance, use: DZSoft PHP Editor.

Hi all

Ive tried doing the same, changing the header.php which i have in
includes/languages/english/red/header.php

am i totally in the wrong place

I thought if my template (red) was chosen, the header.php in the red directory should take effect

Trying to alter all of the header but i dont seem to have any mention of it in
tpl_header.php

can someone help at all?.. i think im not seeing something so simple?
