HELP product info image Gone!!

I just uploaded a new category of products, uploaded the Large images and then enabled the category.

Now the images in the category listing are showing and the larger image is showing in its pop-up box put eh image on the product info page will not show!

If i hit Ctrl+F5 the broken image frame flashes for a millisecond, at the LARGE size, then dissappears.
There is no broken image, the frame is not even held open, and the file permissions appear to be normal (777)

products uploaded to other categories show as normal

Totally At A loss for this one, any help much appreciated

EDIT: its actually not a broken image frame that flashes but a loading image frame, large image size

Oh Good God I feel SOOOOO stupid. Forgot to upload images to /medium/ as well as images/ and /large/
