Default upgraded to 1.3.7 , but had to reload an old db1.3.0.2

I had to upgrade unexpectedly to 1.3.7, as the host's server upgraded their PHP and did not advise me prior. I have all the includes and admin backed up etc, but the database was falling over all the time, so they reloaded the backup. It's at least working now but I have the message that it needs a patch.

Am I going to have to reload the whole thing again? I am such a clutz at this sort of thing and my web guy knows less about this program than I do.

You don't have to start over.

If you didn't get the 1.3.7 download from the ZC site, download it now (link at top of page) and unzip it on your computer. Once you've done that, FTP the zc_install folder (and ONLY the zc_install folder) to where you have ZC installed on your site, open your browser and go to http://www.yourdomain.com/zc_install/ (or http://www.yourdomain.com/zcfolder/zc_install/ if you've installed ZC in a separate folder). The installer will give you the option to "upgrade database". Select that and the installer will automatically select the upgrades you need. It's a matter of following the installer's instructions after that.

Ok I did as you suggested.

The following was the message I got.

Warning: require(../includes/classes/class.base.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/kaysarty/public_html/zcfolder/zc_install/includes/application_top.php on line 29

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../includes/classes/class.base.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/kaysarty/public_html/zcfolder/zc_install/includes/application_top.php on line 29

Have I maybe done something wrong?

i have had similar messges SOOO many times. Try reuploading all the files again. Likely cause is that one or more files didn't upload correctly.

Is zc_install in the same folder as your ZenCart?

Please check to see if the file exists:
    /includes/classes/class.base.php

First answer to question is zc_install in same folder as my ZenCart -

I hope so. Iput it in the same level that has the 'includes' and 'admin' files. Is that correct?

    second question
Please check to see if the file exists:
    /includes/classes/class.base.php
am I to check to see if the file is in the zc_install or in my includes files?
It is definitely in the loaded includes files on my directory but I can't find it in the downloaded zc_install files

should be in the regular include folder which is on the same level as the admin folder.

I just checked and the date on the includes/classes/class.base.php file in my site is the same date version as the one in the downloaded file. but it was located in the in the includes/classes folder of the download. not in the zc_install
