Customize Homepage

Why can't I find how to do this? I apoligize but do need help. I'd like to add text and pictures if possible - just an HTML area or whatever would be great.

Do I create a new page with the EZPage editor and then somehow assign it to home page status? Is there a good description somewhere of the difference between using EZPages and the Define Pages Editor?

index (with category icons) Shows product subcategories icons in the center part of the webpage when choosing a category without products in. Url: www.myshop.com/index.php?main_page=index &cPath=1 (example in default demo shop)

Yep, define_main_page.php is the file to edit.

Save a copy in your template folder, and the next time you use the Define Pages Editor it will use your custom copy. This protects your content from being wiped out in an upgrade.
