shipping charges -- how can I restrict USPS services to certain destinations?

Thanks for jumping in. Based on what you say I don't want to use zone rates. Do you know if there is a way to offer International Priority Mail to the world and a choice of International Priority or International First Class only to Canada. My domestic shipping works like a charm but this international one has me stymied.

Yes, that's the way the USPS module is written.

You could do custom coding to pull out all the international shipping types, check to see if it's a canada quote you're working with, and enable/disable a single option based on that criteria.

But, that'll require custom coding to change the way the module works by default. Hopefully your programmer can do that.
