Questions from my boss (I was pretty sure of the answers, but I wanted to verify)

1) He wants to make sure that Rewards Points cannot be used for Shipping. Is this correct?

Yes- the points are only redeemed against the purchase, not any "additions".

2) When purchasing something and using Rewards Points, does the use of RP reduce the number of RP gained (i.e. if I buy a $75 item, and use rewards points to reduce the cost by $5, do I get 70 RP or 75 RP?)

No- you still gain full RP- for the same reason that you cannot redeem against shipping- The RP is against the raw order.

To clarify this further is you look at the default reward against redeem (at 1:100) in the scenario you propose the customer would use 500 reward points to bring the price down by $5 but would only earn 5 points difference in the order (worth 5 cents) so not really something I would worry about coding in the near future.

got a request

on the user CP, can it be made so they see the amoutn of points they have PLUS the value of it, liek they get on the checkou page

at this moment just shows the total amount of points, not it's value

oh!! that brings up a question, before I attempt to install.

How does this interact with table prefixes? For example, if all of my store tables use the prefix "zen_" before the tables, will the new tables have that prefix? Will the code be looking for the tables to have that prefix?
