Module Development Howto/Guide?

Is there even a quick and dirty intro to module development under Zen Cart?

If I have to resort to using existing modules as a template, I will - but that seems to be the long way home.

I did the second way, learn from others, and evetually improve from that.

That's great and I'm big on the idea of learning... but I have to pick a couple of carts to develop modules for our company's API.

I'm just trying to prioritize based on ease of implementation.

There is some information in the Wiki (link in menu above) - but, more depends on what you are trying to accomplish specifically.

I'm also interested in the quick guide on how to write modules for ZenCart. Want to develop zen module for our live chat software.

Hi,
I am little player at module development, but I also develop features for 3rd parties and i would like to ask, if there is a way, hoe to ensure, that in Eclipse studio, I could work on my project just as a module and this module could be "preinstalled" in zencart instalation - so as I would not have to do file->export each time a make changes. Yes, there is a way to install zen for each module and then just use the files from "my module" when the module is finished, but this is too dirty for me, too. Could anyone help me, please? How you, proffessionals of ZenCart, work on contributions, when you want to use one installation of zencart for all contributions with all the files/dirs of it just in (eclipse) project?
