First attempt at uploading with EP

I have just tried a test upload of products using Easy Populate 2.74
and none of the products have appeared on the site

I received the following error when in my admin page after upload

I used Excel 2003 to save a spreadsheet as a tab deliminated text file

I have used FlashFXP to upload all images in a folder called christmas to /public_html/images/christmas/.

I have read the EP wiki and used the column headings from there.

I can if needed upload the txt and xls files I have used.

Do you have the correct version of EP? You seem to be using 2.74

For ZC 1.3.8a the one you need to use is in the free add-ons, and is ver 1.2.5.5

If you have an older version, you must remove all the files AND delete the dbase table(s) before installing the correct version.

Did your FTP program send the EP file up as ASCII (not binary).

Hi Schoolboy, I didnt install EP as it was already in the cart (bought hosting from online webtraders). I will try to install 1.2.5.5 as you suggest.
I didn't use FlashFXP to upload (other than images) and did it as part of my admin page under the tools drop down list.

I have downloaded EP 1.2.5.5. Do I need to uninstall the previous version that came with my cart and if so how would I do that?
