    Default Bulletin board software?

I vaguely remember a comment somewhere that there was a bulletin board that would run with ZC but I can't find anything in the FAQs or messages about it. Has anyone installed and used it? Where can it be downloaded or purchased? Are there detailed directions-for-dummies for it?

I am using 1.3.8a on BlueHost (Linux server).

It was phpBB and the development team appear to be backing away from that being integrated, towards it being an add-in. I'm not sure what the status is in the current version of Zen Cart, but a search on phpBB should turn up useful info.

Thanks, Kuroi. Turns out my host, BlueHost, offers phpBB as a "simple script" and did all the installation work, I just picked where I wanted it to go and my administrator name. (That's what I like, the computer to do all the hard stuff for me!)

Now I just have to figure out how to change the "yourdomain.com" and other labels into the right ones for my stuff ...

Well, I forgot one little detail. How do I tell ZC where the forum is? I found the switch to tell ZC there was a phpBB forum, but doesn't ZC need to have a web address? And will a link to it show up automagically, or do I need to add one manually?

    Default phpBB

I've never used it so can't be sure. I'd guess that you would create a link in your Zen Cart to your forum wherever you have put it. It's also possible that you will need to have the Zen Cart and phpBB tables in the same database for the bridge between them to work. But this is speculation on my part.

Rats. I put the /phpBB subdirectory in the ZenCart root directory, but ZC apparently hasn't seen it, or at least there is no ZC-created link in my store. I was hoping someone had used the BB software and could tell me what I'm doing wrong.
