Zen Cart 1.3.8a and PHP 5.2.x

Hi all,

Will Zen Cart 1.3.8a work fine out-of-the-box with the latest PHP 5.2.x release?

Or are there any patches that need to be applied to ZC?

Should work just fine.
You should still apply the posted security patches to it though, even though they're not specific to PHP versions.

Also, I've found this admin patch apparently needed for PHP 5.2.x compatibility:

Should I apply it to Zen Cart 1.3.8a or is it already included?

There are at least 2 patches posted for 1.3.8a. You will need to apply both.

Thanks for the reply, I've found the ZC security patches in the Release Announcements forum.

But I've also found this no-security patch that is supposed to fix some issues in the admin when running ZC with PHP 5.2.x:

But I'm not sure if that is required for ZC 1.3.8a or if it already includes that fix.

No, there are no patches already included in the 1.3.8a download.
