    Default Duplicate transaction error

    Hey Guys,
A customer got this error when he tried to order the same item several months later, made us worry how many other customers might be getting it! Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there some kind of cache I can clear out?

"A duplicate transaction has been submitted. - Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct any information and try again or contact us for further assistance."

    Thanks!

That message is coming from your credit card processing gateway. Your best answer about the exact cause of the message is to contact them about it.

Authorize.net says that that error only appears if a person tries their card and then tries it again within 10 minutes. So it seems the customer tried it a couple of times and then contacted us, when we tried it we got the same error because the customer had already triggered the error message. So there you go.
