Add-ons include Better Together Discount Module for Zen Cart 1.3 Version 2.0 and Quantity Discounts Module for Zen Cart 1.3.5 and above Version 1.10. The only other chages are cosmetic.

If you're not logged in, then all your cart-contents details are lost after 24 minutes of inactivity ... which means they won't survive until the sale about which you're concerned.

OK, but what about the people who are logged in? Is that the only time the cart contents are saved to the database?

... and even if they are stored in the cart - they are not removed from the inventory until the cart is checked out.
