Default Host switched our server, now our site is "untrusted"?

My host changed our server over the weekend without alerting us (yeah, nice huh). Anyway, our site is up and running. We had to reinstall our SSL and you can log in securely BUT I have heard from customers that is they go to our site www.thebeveragegourmet.com and go to "log in", they get an error that comes up in firefox saying our site is untrusted and might be a cloned site. i can't replicate this on my computer and have NO IDEA why this is happening. Can anyone help?

    Hi,

This is nothing to worry about.

Your visitors have been to your site before, and now the ip has changed therefore firefox is giving this warning.

If they have intalled your old certificate on their computer it will have to be removed to get rid of this error.

Maybe someone will come along with more technical jargon to explain how it works.

    Cheers,

    Matt

    the link getting errors is:
    https://www.thebeveragegourmet.com/c...ain_page=login

My control panel is Cpanel (if that matters).

It maybe just a browser cache issue, try asking your customers to remove this and see if this resolves the error.

Thanks...I'll try that. I can't replicate it but more than once customer commented on it.

    In Firefox....

    Click on tools...

    Click on options..

    Click advanced tab..

    Now click the encryption tab..

    then view certificates...

A nice long list of all ssl certificates installed.

Click the first one and then shift click the last one and this will remove all instead of trying to remove yours individually, unless yours is unique and can find it.

Tell clients to remove cache as well.

    Then restart firefox.

The above steps are for the latest firefox.

Maybe put a message inside the account login page or default account page saying something similar.

This means you know about it and are on the case.

    Cheers,

    Matt

Thanks very much! Whew...glad to hear it's not happening to everyone. Thanks for the tip Matt. I will probably send a little email out on Monday (scheduled anyway) to include a blurb about it and give them your instructions.

    THANKS!!!!
