Can't restore database properly! HELP

I've made a few posts about the upgrade I am working on. I have been following the upgrade instructions. I made a backup of my sites database and when I went to restore it into the "new sites" (ie: upgrade site) database, it only uploaded 112 out of 116 tables. SO...when I go to run the zcinstall for the upgrade, it tells me that I am missing (used DATABASE name in place of real database name)

1146 Table 'DATABASENAME.whos_online' doesn't exist
in:
[show fields from whos_online]

When I try to restore it a 2nd time, it simply times out every time and doesn't add the extra files.

What can I do? I can't get the upgrade to work because of this. It's the first time I am doing this (restore). I am using cpanel but it times out (like I said)

So I tried again this morning and got this error:

[FONT=&quot]How do I fix this? Alternative would be to restore an older database version but it's on the server. Where on the server are those saved? I can't access admin panel

so I finally got 115 of 116 to upload. I got into my admin.

Now the error I get is:your database appears to need patching at a higher level.

when I look at server info (as per error), it says:
Database Patch Level: 1.3.6

I am upgrading from 1.3.6

what to do now?
