Products for sales as well as some just for display only

Hi guys,

New version being used.

Can I have some products for sale with buy it now button as well as have some products that are info only?

Sure. If your "info only" products will *always* be info-only, and never purchased, just use the Document-General product-type when creating them.
ie: When you go to click the "New Product" button, just before you do that, choose the Document-General option from the pulldown list beside that button. *Then* click the button.

thanks for that..it will work....but now my layout for the products is different....can i make the layout the same for document general as product info?

ok...so here is what it looks like in the normal product that u can purchase....

Site is still in development of course....basically this second one sits within a box...you will see on the page and I want it to be like the first one....i just cant work out what to do

I'm afraid that's a function of your Template Monster template. In a stock Zencart installation, the two product pages are identical.

You might take a look at the files that came with the template to see what they may have done with the product info files.
