I would like to be able to sort the product listing by date, price, etc. just as can be done with row layout.
I have subsequently implemented the Single Listing Template add-on, where New, Special and Featured listings are columnar and DO provide for sorting the listing exactly as can be done with row layout.
I compared how the various display templates work but do not know how to progress. Please see attached file
