Making 'My Account' Non-SSL

Hi

Is it possible to make the my account section of zen cart non ssl while leaving the checkout ssl on?

I want tpl_account_history_info_default.php and possibly tpl_account_default.php both to be non ssl due to a few modifications im making to the user account area.

Would be grateful of any help

It's possible, though not necessarily advisable.

You would need to go through the Zen Cart code to find all places where links to any of the pages in the "my account" group of pages are generated and change the SSL parameter in the zen_href_link function to NONSSL.

Quite a lot of work, an impediment to future upgrades and with the net result that your customers account information would no longer be transmitted securely.

Its just for those 2 pages probably just the first as the PDF invoices live on the non ssl side of the site.
